Weh ad such great weather for this very special weekend. Our new families got a chance to meet the Baby Bergers. A good time was had by all!!!!!!!!!

I like this pic of Addie – she is SUCH a good Mom- directly to her right out of the pic are her 15 babies- she keeps a constant vigil!

It almost looks like the whelping box has shrunk! Here is Addie with just the girls!

Today was the puppies first day outside and also the first time they have all been together since shortly after they were born. There was much crying( screaming) as at first the  puppies did not like the” great outdoors” ! They quickly exhausted themselves and enjoyed snoozing together.

With such a large litter – there are 3 sittings. The two smalllest have a private session with Addie as Keifer looks on.  The rest of the puppies are divided into 2 groups .The girls nurse with Mom while the boys are bottlefed and begin play/ eating their “smoothies” and then 2 hours later we switch!

When you are 2 weeks old just eating is enough to totally exhaust you! Here one of the little girls demonstrates what true puppy fatique looks like!

Here are some of the boys resting after a strenuous session of bottle feeding! The girls and boys are rotated every 3 hours now- while one group is bottle fed – the other group is with Addie. It is hectic to say the least!Relief is in sight- in another 10 days the Baby Bergers will begin to feed themselves with an occasional top up from Mom and the bottle!
